The Hillside Rest Home is located in Marion, Ohio. It is a 24 bed RCF that is within walking distance to all of Marion. It began life as a single family residence that was converted to a nursing home after WWII. It was acquired by Buckeye Family in 1984 and operated as a nursing home until 1998, when it was converted to a RCF. It is on the same campus as Royal Gables and the Harding Pointe nursing home. Also, the campus has numerous houses and cottages for staff housing and higher functioning mentally ill residents. Marion has a bus system.
